It's been awhile since I've blogged. I just haven't found the time to do so. A lot has been going on at the Caldron home. Troy has been home for a while now but, that'll all change this summer. We will be visitng California this May and we are so excited. I'm a little nervous at the same time since my mom will be taking care of the kids. I trust my mom but, not the kids. My dad is tagging along which is good. Dallin seems to take to my dad really well. Dad can watch Dallin while my mom takes care of the other kids. Tori is doing track, specifically pole vaulting. She still hasn't competed because she is constantly getting injured. She fell on her knee and can't hardly walk. She is worst than I was when it comes to accidents. Drew received his orange belt and also received an A on his exam. Tyler scored a perfect score on the TAKS test and we are so proud of him. Tori also was accepted to the NJHS. It was a difficult process but she did it. She will officially be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society April 16, 2009. Dallin is now on his way to being fully potty-trained. We just need to work on the poopy thing. He still needs a diaper for that. Drew is doing excellent in kindergarten. His teacher told me is very smart and is reading 1st grade level 2 material. We couldn't be more proud of the children Heavenly Father has given us. We are truly blessed.

Having A Busy Day.

Today I thought I would clean a the house but my Drew said his tummy hurt. I think he was faking. Then I decided to check my e-mails and ended up wasting two hours of my day on the computer. I need to finish washing clothes, cleaning my room, the restrooms, and touching up the baseboards with some paint. And to top it all off. Tori has a basketball game at 4:30. She loves playing in the games, but hates to practice and play church ball because she can't be as aggressive. I told that's not stopping the other players. She' s funny that way. My family will be coming up this weekend to celebrate Dallin and my nephew RJ's birthday. It should be fun. I wasn't in the mood to have a big party for him. I know I'm a mean mom. I just don't have the time to plan it with Troy out of town. Hopefully Troy will be over with the cases next year and I'll have a big and fun party for him. For Dallin, not Troy. It looks like he may not be here for our annivesary this year too. I don't know what those darn US attorney's are thinking. They have nothing to worry about they have their wives at home in Houston. I know I should stop complaining, but I can vent, can I?

So I finally got over my stomach virus and it was the worst I've ever had. All but Drew got it . It was a four day one. I'll get back to my blog in a while. There is a waitning line behind me to use the computer.

Save, Save, Save...

So I've decided to save some money and really start to get my food storage going. Why now? I recently saw a movie called " Kit kittridge" and saw what lies ahead. Many believe we can go through another Great Depression as in the late 20's and 30's. I believe it's true because the church has been warning us for many years. I find it hard to do because i love to buy unnecessary things for the house with out having a plan. So from now on I will save and pay only with cash. I hope I can do it.

And We're Off!

Finally, the case that Troy has been working on is set for Monday, January 12,2009. My poor honey has been working on this case for almost two years. I can't wait to have my husband home( I hope I don't regret saying that) for good. It has been an adventure for all of us. I think I've grown to be independent and I don't know if I'll be able to share my routine with him. I've been doing things differently since he's been gone and I finally have down packed. Poor guy, He can't wait to have his wife cook him a home meal. I need to make more dinners at home instead of going out to eat. I've gained 10 pounds in the last 6 months. All because I had an excuse to eat out. It's time to eliminate the take out food.
Anyway, keep him in your prayers please. The trial could last about 5 weeks or so. I will be counting the days.
