Finally, the case that Troy has been working on is set for Monday, January 12,2009. My poor honey has been working on this case for almost two years. I can't wait to have my husband home( I hope I don't regret saying that) for good. It has been an adventure for all of us. I think I've grown to be independent and I don't know if I'll be able to share my routine with him. I've been doing things differently since he's been gone and I finally have down packed. Poor guy, He can't wait to have his wife cook him a home meal. I need to make more dinners at home instead of going out to eat. I've gained 10 pounds in the last 6 months. All because I had an excuse to eat out. It's time to eliminate the take out food.
Anyway, keep him in your prayers please. The trial could last about 5 weeks or so. I will be counting the days.

New Phone for Tori!!!
It's funny how you can get a preteen to do just about anything. My cell phone went out on me yesterday and I don't have a replacement for it. So I decided since I only have 3 months to go on my contract with Sprint, I would get a new line with T-mobile. Why do you ask? it's complicated. I'll be borrowing my sister's old phone this weekend so I can use it with my sprint number. The new T-mobile line will be Tori's Christmas present. We talked her out of wanting a dog. Which is a good thing. Now I can use this as a punishment. Hehheh! Now the other kids want one too. No one is ever happy if they can't have the same as the others.

Tori is going to the temple on Tuesday for the first time. I am thrilled. I wish I could go. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get my recommend signed by the Stake President. He is always out. And the stake center is 40 minutes away. It doesn't help that Troy is out of town either. Troy is also upset that he can't make it. Tori will be taking some names of my side of the family preform the baptism for them. One of the names she will be taking is my Aunt Irma, my mom's sister, who passed away almost 4 years ago. We received permission from her husband to do the ordinance. I know my mom will be thinking about Tori that night.

The Start of Something New.
So I've taken on so many projects I don't think I'll ever get any of them done. I've decided to make purses for some of the family members on my side of the family for Christmas and I don't know how to get started. I've got all the material and extras but I don't want to start it if I don't feel I can finish it. With Troy out of town, I have to decorate the house, the tree, and the outdoors, clean, take kids to their activities and all of the other domestics duties. It's all alittle too much to bear. I feel the Lord is punishing us somehow. Troy is not having it any better. He has no time for himself either. He even misses coming home to a messy house.
Anyway, I hope I can get my things done without completely losing my sanity. I ask that you all keep me in your prayers that I might have the strength, wisdom and tolerance to keep my family happy and successful.
